Conditions of Use

All prices quoted are for one hire unless noted.

All cancellations must be made in writing and Weeding Hire will acknowledge receipt of this cancellation by fax/email/post. If you do not receive notification from Weeding Hire that we have received your cancellation, then we have not received your cancellation and you will need to re-send it.

A cancellation fee of 50% of “Gross Total” from order/quotation/invoice will be charged for cancellations made within 48 hours from the scheduled set-up/delivery time/day.

A daily rate will be charged on all items returned after the specified date.

A full replacement cost will be charged for any items not returned to Weeding Hire within 7 days of the “End of Event” date on the invoice, or for any items returned to Weeding Hire which have been damaged.

All articles should be returned clean and dry, otherwise additional charges will be made.

Please check goods upon delivery for number and condition, and notify the company immediately of any missing, damaged or unsuitable equipment. If you do not notify Weeding Hire immediately, we will be unable to rectify the situation and you will be charged the full “Gross Total” on your quotation/order/invoice.

15% deposit must be paid to confirm this booking. The deposit is non refundable. The deposit amount once paid will be deducted from the amount owing on the final invoice.

Payment must be made in full within seven (7) days of the “start of event” date on the invoice.

Agree that if the account is not paid by the due date that the account may be lodged with a mercantile agent for recovery, and in such circumstances that the hirer will bear an account surcharge of 25% to cover the agent’s commissions. In addition, the hirer agrees to bear all legal costs and disbursement incurred in the recovery of the debt.

You shall without limitation be liable for the following:

(a) Any costs incurred by Weeding Hire in repairing or replacing any items;

(b) Any other costs whatsoever incurred or loss suffered by Weeding Hire as a result of the damage to or loss to any items;

You release Weeding Hire from, and agrees to indemnify Weeding Hire in respect of any third party claims, action, suits, demands, costs and expenses for damage or injury to person or property arising directly or indirectly out of the hire or use of the items by you.
